Dear Parents, Students, and Staff:

     My name is Larry Hunter and it is an honor to be your Assistant Principal at Tennyson Middle School.  I am excited to be a part of an amazing team of teachers, students, families, and administrators. It is with great pleasure to serve our learning community and contribute to a successful school year in every way I can.

     Before moving into administration, I taught all levels of intermediate history at Nolan Middle School in Killeen Independent School District, where I also coached football and track and was Nolan’s Middle School’s 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year.

     I received my undergraduate degree from Lamar University in Political Science and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas Permian Basin. 

     I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff, families, and administrative team to help provide the best educational experience for our students. I am blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the family.
