I am so excited to continue my educational journey as your Assistant Principal at Tennyson Middle School and to have the opportunity to step into a role where I am already home.
I have been in education for the last 17 years - 2 of which were here at Tennyson as one of your counselors. Before I came to Tennyson, I was a middle school math teacher and girls’ coach in Amarillo, TX for 5 years, and a middle school and high school counselor for 9 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX, and I received my Masters’ Degrees from West Texas A&M University and Lamar University.
I love the field of education, and I really enjoy working with students to help them achieve their goals in their future endeavors. I see them as future leaders, and I consider it a privilege to advocate for their success.
