Biography: My name is Shelby Haastrup and this is my 6^th year as a teacher at South Waco Elementary.  I'm from Waxahachie, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University-Central Texas in 2013 with my Bachelors in Education and Psychology. In 2014, I have two sons one in elementary and one headed to middle school. I also have a cat named Layla.  I love to spend time with family, friends, and cook

My Why: I want to ensure our students have a person that will give their best day in and day out to help them achieve their goals.  They matter so we can have a brighter future.
