About Administrative Regulations

    Waco ISD's Administrative Regulations are adopted by the district's leadership team to help standardize how board policies are implemented from campus to campus. As a result, each regulation references a specific board policy, and it may helpful to read the relevant legal and/or local policies alongside the regulation. (Board policies can be found here.) In general, the regulations are updated annually prior to the start of each school year or when changes in board policies necessitate changes in the processes outlined in the regulations.

    The administrative regulations are maintained by the district's chief of staff. Questions about applying a specific regulation can directed to administrators referenced in the regulation or to the chief of staff. Requests to add an administrative regulation or feedback on existing administrative regulations can also be directed to the chief of staff.
