Biography: My name is Sarina Carrizales and I am in my fourth year as a Dyslexia Instructional Specialist. This is my 12th year in education, my 4th year at Cesar Chavez. I grew up right here in Waco, Texas and graduated from Waco HIgh School in 2004. In 2010, I received my Bachelors  from The University of Texas at Arlington in Child Studies. I have an amazing family and love spending time with my fiance and our sons, Maddux and Jax. 

My Why: Since I can remember I wanted to be a teacher. This dream was pushed through by all of the dedicated educators that helped me along the way. I want to be that permanent fixture in my students' lives. I want to be that voice they hear saying you can do anything!
