Biography: My name is Alexis Auerbach and I am in my first year as the ASPIRE-Functional Academics teacher. This is my 2nd year in education and my 2nd year at Cesar Chavez. I grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Baylor University in 2019 with my Bachelors in K-12 Special Education. I plan on pursuing a masters degree in Special Education with the goal of eventually becoming a diagnostician. I enjoy spending time cooking with my fiance and playing outdoors with our chocolate lab Dexter. 

My Why: Every student deserves an advocate and someone to push them to achieve anything they set out to do. I want to ensure that students get an education that is individualized to their specific needs.
