Biography: My name is Charly Maxcy and I am beginning my fourth year of teaching, third year at CCMS. I teach 8th grade Math and Algebra I. I am from Georgetown, TX but grew up in nearby Granger. In 2017, I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelors in Mathematics and a teaching certificate. My husband and I met at the Baptist Student Ministry at Texas State and we married in June of 2019. We have learned that we really enjoy camping, as long as we aren’t in the Texas heat. I absolutely love to read and spend time with both of our families.  

My Why: I want to help students in developing their communication and relational skills through the subject of math so that they will be better prepared for their future.
