Biography: My name is Angelia Brown, and this is my 3rd year here at Cesar Chavez. I was born in Colorado, but grew up in the DFW area. I graduated from Joshua High School in Joshua, Texas, and went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Mid-Grades English Education from Baylor University. I liked Waco so much that I just decided not to leave! I have a beautiful baby girl, and her Papa and I live in the Baylor area of Waco with the world's most perfect cat. I really enjoy reading books with my daughter, hanging out in Cameron Park, and watching a WIDE variety of shows and movies on Netflix. 

My Why: I teach English because I truly believe that communication is the single most important skill a person can develop. I strive to provide students with the tools, comprehension, and confidence necessary to effectively communicate with the people around them in a variety of different contexts in order to reach the highest possible level of success.
