Biography: My name is Ms. Cilumba. I am in my 2nd year as a 7th grade teacher and I am in my 9th year as an educator. I grew up in Florida and I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2008 with a Bachelors in History. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 2011. I love to spend time with family and travel. 

My Why: To support, help and show love to students regardless…as a student I didn’t always feel valued, sometimes I felt hopeless and I was always confused. I want to work in a way that dispels all of these adjectives for other students. Helping them to feel brave and empowered.
