Biography: My name is Ms Swain and I am in my second year teaching and first year in middle school as a 6th grade math teacher. This is my first year here at Cesar Chavez. I grew up in Texas but lived in several parts of the caribbean and South America. I graduated from Texas State University with my Bachelors in Science . In the future I plan on getting a Masters degree in counseling. I love to spend time with family and travel.

My Why: I teach because I want to change the world, I have the opportunity everyday to inspire, motivate and challenge the future generation to become more than they could ever imagine. I teach because it's my passion, my drive, I don't do it for the income, I do it for the outcome.
